Shipping Policies

Davenport University Spirit Store offers many shipping options:

  • FedEx SmartPost – 7-10 business days (comes USPS)
  • FedEx Ground – 3-5 business days
  • FedEx Ground with Signature – 3-5 business days (Recommended for electronics)
  • International Canada (Ground)
  • International (other than Canada)
  • Hawaii and Alaska
**Please note – Overnight shipping is not an available option at this time**

Merchandise can also be picked up from the Tyrus R. Wessell Bookstore on the Lettinga campus

  • An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pick up.
  • Please allow 2-3 business days for orders to be ready.

Graduation cap and gown orders may take up to 72 hours to process as verification is needed prior to being shipped out.

Return Policies

All returns or exchanges must be accompanied with an original register or online order receipt.

Davenport Online Bookstore Textbook Return Policy

To return an item purchased from the Online Bookstore, please visit

Textbook Return Policy for Tyrus R. Wessell Bookstore

Returns will be accepted with the following guidelines:

  • 10 days from the start of 15 week classes
  • 5 days from the start of 7 week classes
  • Textbooks must be returned in the condition they were purchased.
  • Books bundled must be in the original packaging.
  • All sales are final on test preparatory and study guides.
Defective books will be replaced with the same title at no charge.
No refunds will be given on any material purchased during the last 2 weeks of classes.
No returns or exchanges will be made on ebooks, access codes, or unwrapped textbooks.

Merchandise Return Policy

Returns will be accepted with the following guidelines:

  • Within 30 days with a valid receipt
  • Items must be returned in the condition in which they were purchased.
  • Clothing must have tags attached and show no signs of wear.
  • Cash refunds the day of purchase only, otherwise a check will be issued within 14 days.
  • Credit card returns will be credited to the original card used for purchase.
  • Book vouchers and gift cards will be credited as such appropriately.

Electronics Return Policy

No returns will be accepted on opened electronics or software.

Online Order Return Policy

Returns will be accepted with the following guidelines:

  • Return authorization must be obtained prior to returning any merchandise.
  • Please email for authorization.
  • A copy of the sales receipt must be included in all returns or exchanges.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges unless the product is defective or the wrong item was sent.

Bookstore Staff reserves the right to deny any refund or exchange inquiry.
